I've used the 2017 version of Osmond Cocoa successfully for five hobby projects. I found the software easy to use. Although I haven't explored all possible commands, I was able to complete a project with about 500 holes/pads in a few evenings. (Note: I have no experience using other PCB programs designed in the 21st century - only some age-old ones for the Mac Plus in the 1980s... 😉
