I am sad to post this review because we've used their service (mostly successfully) for 8 years. To be fair : their quality of PCB is good and prices low. If you only need inexpensive yet good quality PCB prototyping - this is a good supplier. But anything else aside from the basic on-line order you will gamble.
Last year we placed a large rush service order. They started manufacturing more than a week later... Our plans were ruined because they had Chinese New Year for many days and no notice provided on the ordering page. We decided still to continue with them because they promised to have a notice on their site about the holidays. Indeed, this year I saw such notice specifically warning about their New Year. Now I placed order Sep. 15 and payed $41 extra for 24-hours rush service and payed the fastest delivery carrier to match our urgent schedule... they shipped the order Sep. 20 ... 24-hr rush service turned to be 96-hr. Explanation was the same "we had a Mid-Autumn holiday... hope you will understand".
But I can't understand how can they accept 24-hr rush service and go on for few days on holiday without notifying customers that they will be out of work for days ? In reply they yet again promise to fix the problem... but we had enough. Over the years there were few other failures / broken promises but I don't want to mention those as they were not critical in my view and were willing to ignore.
BTW no refund was offered for no 24-hr rush service.
good timing, good price. However, we had several solder pads lift quite easily when soldering at lead-free temps. Never had that before with a vendor for PCBs. It was only on one board but was multiple pads, which made me think it was a manufacturing error rather than a defect in the design. I used the same design rules i always do an have never had this issue with our thru-hole boards.
I have ordered from Elecrow multiple times(100-500pcs batches) and each time the quality was very good . Jenny and Leah are very fast, responsive and adaptive. Definitely recommend!
Excellent fabrication quality, Used for a 2-sided PCB. Fast turnaround time and fast delivery. Additional PCBs included in delivery above and beyond ordered quantity. PCB order to shipment was only 7 days. Will definitely use again.
I needed 1 pcb, but the minimum order was 5 pcb's, and I received 18 pcb's. Very generous people, will buy again. Quality is great too.
Over the past several years I have had very good results with this manufacturer. Excellent customer relations, very good product quality, every pcb is electrically tested. I return time after time and was never let down, on the contrary.
I've looked around the elecrow website and I can't find any reviews below 5 stars on any of their products. All of the products either have a few five-star reviews or no reviews at all. I tried leaving review less than five stars on a product that had some issues, but my review isn't showing up on the website.
If you want to find more honest reviews, I recommend searching for elecrow products on Amazon. A lot more reviews show up on Amazon.
I had 5x turnkey assemblies done by Elecrow for 2 layer PCB. They did a good job with the entire process, PCB fab, BOM order and assembly. Their project manager was courteous and professional ! Boards were delivered within scheduled ETA.
Very fast delivery, considering that it is located in China. The quality is super!
It is a cheap supplier, they are easy to order and are fast, but the quality is lacking. I'm always finding tricky defects in the boards, like broken vias, broken traces, over etched traces. I want to use a service where they do electrical testing.
